We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
If you have any questions about how we use your information, email us at [email protected].
2. What we collect
When you ask us to build your website, we collect:
- your name, email address and, if you give it, phone number
- your business name and a description of what it does
- what you would like us to build and any other details you share
If you become a customer, we also keep the content you give us for your website, your billing details and our correspondence with you.
3. How we use it
We use your information to:
- reply to your enquiry and discuss your website
- design, build, host and maintain your website
- bill you and manage your account
- meet our legal and accounting obligations
Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing our contract with you, complying with the law, and our legitimate interest in running and improving our business. We will never sell your information.
4. Cookies
We only use the cookies needed for this website to work, such as keeping forms secure. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. To protect our forms from spam, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. It may set a strictly necessary security cookie and checks technical signals from your browser to tell people and bots apart. It is not used for tracking or advertising.
5. Who we share it with
We share information only with trusted providers who help us run our service, such as hosting, email and payment providers, and only as much as they need. They may only use it on our instructions. Where information is processed outside the UK, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place.
6. Your website visitors
When we host your website, any personal information your visitors submit (for example through a contact or booking form, a member account or a purchase) belongs to you. You are the data controller for that information and we process it on your behalf, under the terms of our agreement with you. Card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored by us. If you ask us to add third-party tracking or advertising tools, you are responsible for how those providers use your visitors' information.
7. How long we keep it
If you make an enquiry but do not become a customer, we delete your details after 24 months. Customer records are kept for as long as you are with us, and accounting records for six years afterwards, as required by law.
8. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your information, object to how we use it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. To make a request, email [email protected].
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
